As in the world, the Sun is kept on Mars. But not exactly like ours. On Mars, the Sun does not disappear completely.
What is Solar eclipse?
A solar eclipse occurs when a portion of the Earth is engulfed in a shadow cast by the Moon which fully or partially blocks sunlight.
How Does Solar Eclipse Occur on Mars?
On Mars, Phobos and Deimos, the satellite of Mars, must enter between the Sun and Mars in order to become a solar eclipse. And since these two satellites are small, they don't cover the sun completely. They pass in front of you only as a small shadow.
